Hosting an event and want WomenSafe to table? Give us a call at (802) 388-4205.

WomenSafe advocates provide outreach services for our community. The goal of our outreach work is to make our services more visible and accessible for those in need. These outreach services include (but are not limited to):

-support groups for specific populations, such as students at Northlands Job Corps and residents at Valley Vista

-assisting at weekly court hearings, as these provide the opportunity to meet survivors who have not yet accessed our services

-WomenSafe advocates and Vermont Legal Aid attorneys work together to organize a monthly legal clinic for our service users. At the legal clinic, attorneys meet with service users for 30-minute appointments to discuss a variety of legal issues, such as: Relief from Abuse Orders, divorce, custody/paternity, and criminal cases where service users are the victims

-community activism and outreach: You might see us tabling at events such as Volapalooza, Pride, Midd Action Fair, etc! We hope to see you around town!
